Fees

Toronto Aikikai is a membership-based dojo with several membership categories. As a community-supported organization, we offer different payment levels within these categories to match our members' financial means, ensuring our training space remains sustainable and open to everyone.

These are the membership categories:

Basic Designed to support practitioners whose current circumstances make it difficult to afford the Standard rate. This option ensures that temporary financial constraints never stand in the way of a practitioner's commitment to practice and presence on the mat.

Standard Represents the fundamental baseline required to keep the dojo running smoothly, cover our regular operational expenses, and maintain our training facility. This rate remains unchanged from our previous monthly dues.

Plus Intended for practitioners with the financial flexibility and desire to provide active stewardship to our community. These additional funds directly subsidize the Basic category, ensuring the mat remains accessible to all dedicated students.

Members are welcome to choose the category that best fits their current situation, and can move between categories as their circumstances and commitment to practice evolve. All membership selections are kept strictly confidential.

Members in the Standard category who wish to pay in advance can receive the following discounts:

Members in the Basic or Plus tiers are also welcome to pay in advance for convenience, but these categories do not receive advance payment discounts.

Visitors

Visitors are always welcome.
The daily mat fee for visitors is $30 and covers all classes on the day of the visit.
We also offer a package of 10 day visits at a discount price of $250.
There is no expiration date for this package and the visits can be used at any time.
