INVITATION
Toronto Aikikai is pleased to invite you to participate in its Spring Iaido Clinic on Saturday April 18, 2026, at the dojo and online.
Instructors are: Eric Lavigne, 5th dan, Robert Zimmermann, 5th dan, and Yelitza Cuevas, 4th dan.
Practice will cover Muso Shinden Ryu Chuden, sitting and standing variations.
It is an open clinic: everyone is welcome regardless of experience.
Please join us for a rewarding day of practice!

PARTICIPATION
The clinic will take place at Toronto Aikikai, 58 Ritchie Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Participation will be in person and online.
Those who register for participation online will be sent an email with instructions for connection by Zoom and Google Meet.

10:00 am - 11:00 am Fundamentals and Chuden Part I
11:15 am - 12:15 pm Chuden Part II
12:15 pm - 1:45 pm Break / Lunch
1:45 pm - 2:45 pm Chuden Part III
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Chuden and Shoden Q&A
4:15 pm - Tests

LUNCH
There will be a catered lunch for those who register online
and
pay for the clinic prior to the deadline.

Available meal options are selected within the Registration Form, and are as follows:
Vegan:
sweet potato bean cakes, roasted cauliflower, avocado, chickpeas, cucumbers, shredded carrots, pickled turnips, cilantro, baby kale, brown rice, spicy tahini dressing.
Salmon:
cajun salmon brushed with a herb butter, avocado, roasted sweet potato, steamed broccoli, cucumber, pickled onion, jalapeno, brown rice, chopped romaine, carrot ginger dressing.

Iaido Clinic Registration Form and Waiver

You can select the type of meal within the form.
Please note
: to receive your complementary meal you must register and make payment by the
deadline
of
Wednesday April 15 at 5:00 pm.
Registrations or payments received after this deadline will not include a meal.
We have a limited number of iaito we can lend out if you don't have your own. Please indicate on the Registration Form if you need one.

Payment can be made:
in cash at the dojo (sorry no cheques)
by e-transfer to
through Paypal or a credit card by using the "Donate" button below.

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
Toronto Aikikai is located at 58 Ritchie Avenue, just steps from the Dundas West subway station, from the intersections of Dundas St. West and Bloor St. West, and from the intersections of Dundas St. West and Roncesvalles Ave.

If you are driving your best bet for parking is at the Loblaws parking lot just behind the dojo. There is a walkway from the parking lot onto Ritchie Avenue.

COVID-19 POLICY
Standard hygiene practices are in effect at the dojo.
We suggest all seminar participants and visitors self-test before coming to the dojo and abstain from coming if showing any COVID-19, respiratory or other potentially communicable disease symptoms.
Use of masks at the dojo is optional.
